How to use the 7 multiplication chart

Multiplication Problem:

A farmer plants 7 rows of crops, and each row spans 5 meters. Calculate the total length of the crop field.

Solution:

Number of rows in the crop field = 7
Length of each row = 5 meters
Total length of the crop field = Number of rows × Length of each row

Therefore, the crop field has a total length of 5x7 = 35 meters.

Using the 7x5 Multiplication Chart:

Check the row 7 of your multiplication chart and then go to the column 5 inside that row; the number in that cell is: 35

7 Times Table Tips and Tricks

The 7 times table is often considered the hardest! Use the famous rhyme: "5-6-7-8, fifty-six equals seven times eight" (7×8=56). For 7×6, think 7×5=35, then add 7 more = 42. Another trick: 7×7=49 is the only answer where both digits are different and odd. Practice this table with skip counting: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35...
